This place is great.
It's a little on the pricey side for "fast food" but it's a fair price to pay for great tasting shawarma.
The interior is so so, but most people get take out so it doesn't really matter.
The owner sense a little impatient at times but don't take it personally, he's just a quick moving dude.
When I've been here, I've never seen more than one other person there. Some people recognize this as one of the must underrated take out joints in the city, but many are ignorant. So please go! I want this place to stay in Saskatoon for many years to come. -

The best in Saskatoon, the most consistent and flavourful donairs/platters, everything made to order. I can't believe it's taken me two years of being a regular to post a review of this place. This is everything you want in your local Donair joint. It is operated/staffed primarily by the owner who takes pride in the food he delivers, answers lots of questions, gives samples and explains if you arent familiar with something, makes everything custom as you asked for... He used to run a Donair place in Montreal for a number of years after he came to Canada with his family and then came here to Saskatoon and opened up shop - he's the one pulling evening shift, crafting every donair down to the detail. For example, he wants to know how long your travelling home to eat, because he wants to wrap/crisp the pita in a certain way so it doesn't get soggy. Everything is very authentic and always delicious. You have to ask for sweet sauce - he has a three sauce blend of tahini, tzatziki and hot sauce (which is super flavourful) but I am a sucker for sweet sauce with my donair flavours and he always reminds me that it's not healthy for me honestly so cute, he cares so much about his food and customers. The baklava is a great finishing touch, but I usually have to save it because the donair portions are plentiful. Since he's right across from a high school, he's quite busy with walkins at lunch but I would certainly sit and enjoy my lunch here if I didn't live/work 5 min away. Theres not a lot of high-end decor and I probably wouldn't bring a big group for dinner but the takeout game is on point!!
We are the kind of people who will drive to get the food we want, so it's dumb luck that we live close because this is our number one go-to place in Saskatoon.
